Thanks for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it!

If I ever make a better version of the game I'll be sure to include a tutorial and fix the spawning in mid air problem

Thank you!

I'm glad you thought the idea was cool

Press m. It does say right below the title on the submission page, but I forgot to put it where I have the other controls described, thanks for bringing that to my attention

Thank You!

Thank you for playing my game!

I agree. I think I should have included something to tell you which moves you can make

I wish I had time to implement a better level generator.

I appreciate the feedback

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, that's a bug I noticed right before submission. Fortunately you can just step out of the wall.

I got the art from https://www.kenney.nl/assets/pixel-platformer for the player and https://kenney.nl/assets/bit-platformer-pack for everything else

Thanks!

Fun puzzle game with an interesting mechanic that you've used to make some compelling levels.

Amazing artwork, and the gameplay is pretty fun. I put out a bunch of the fires and then the game ended, I don't understand why I lost. Other than that I enjoyed it.

I love the aesthetic. It's fun, humorous and fairly challenging. Really good game.

Really fantastic game! Lots of fun, interesting well executed concept and I didn't notice any bugs! One of the best I've played in the jam.

Pretty good idea.  Although, it's difficult to follow the enemies bullets because they're small and  seem to appear out of nowhere. It'd be nice if you could shoot more regularly too. I think it would be interesting to see this more fleshed out.

I can see why you wouldn't want to make it too easy by showing where you are. It definitely felt hectic, so if that's what you were going for keep it as is.

This game has loads of visual style. There isn't much to play (unless I missed something), but what there is is quite good.

I don't know if I was doing something wrong, but I didn't notice anything happening when I right clicked, the instructions said it'd activate the jetpack or something.

I like how the game looks and the idea.

It would be nice if the map would show a course and a marker for where the car is.

Not much at the minute, you can reroll the level by pressing r, but other than that you're stuck. Thanks for telling me about that bug.

I'm glad you liked it.

I didn't have the time to add any sound unfortunately.

I wish it was longer. I like that it's an inversion of the more common take of losing control as you go through the game. I haven't seen any other game where you gain control as the game goes on in the jam yet.

Pretty fun! I like how there's a natural difficulty increase when you lose control of an action.

I feel like this is quite a unique and clever interpretation of the theme. The absurdity of the letters was funny. I wish it were a bit more challenging, maybe if there were more tasks to do.

Nice game, feels nice and is fun to play. Very easy to pick it up. I think it has lots of potential.

Quite a nice game, the art and music work well together. I wish there was a way to see what attack the bird can use before using it.

Weird in good ways. A well executed game with an interesting concept.

Very good game, feels well polished with a unique concept.

Once I got used to the controls it was quite fun. Although I found it really challenging, especially trying to keep track  of both the direction of motion and the direction of the weapons.

The best part was frantically hitting the space bar to repair whilst getting shot at.

The controls are super fun with a touchscreen. I enjoyed playing it.

Thanks for giving it another go.

I'm glad you think its a cool concept.

Thank you for giving it a go and leaving feedback, I'll try Hellslinger. I understand your confusion. I wish I'd had longer to make a better tutorial, I don't think the instructions are very good as they are.

I'll try to give some better instructions, hopefully someone will see this and have a better idea for what to do.

WASD to move.

Pressing e kills you and sends you back to the spawn point

You also die if you spend too long away from the spawn point.

When you die you drop a yellow turret which you can fire if you go back to it and stand on it whilst holding space and a direction.

Holding space will also make you stop moving.

Holding space down for a while will move the spawn point to your position.

The red turrets swap whether they are active or not every time you die.

The goal is to get to the grey horizontal bars, they're supposed to be stairs, but they look awful. Try and collect any stars you see.
